Non - Immigrant Visa "O" (To stay with non-Thai family residing in Thailand)

A Non-Immigrant Visa “O” is issued to applicants who intend to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for the purpose of accompanying a foreign family member who is currently working or studying in Thailand. The visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance. The permitted period of stay is up to 90 days per entry.
การตรวจลงตราประเภทคนอยู่ชั่วคราว (Non-Immigrant Visa) “O” ออกให้แก่ผู้ยื่นคำร้องที่ประสงค์จะเดินทางเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรไทยเพื่อติดตามบุคคลในครอบครัวที่เป็นชาวต่างชาติที่กำลังทำงานหรือศึกษาในประเทศไทย วีซ่ามีอายุ 3 เดือนนับจากวันที่ออกวีซ่า กำหนดระยะเวลาที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้พำนักอยู่ในประเทศไทย ไม่เกิน 90 วันต่อครั้ง

Required documents (to be submitted through e-Visa system)

1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
   หน้าหนังสือเดินทางที่แสดงรูปถ่ายและข้อมูลของผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทาง
2. Photo of the applicant (taken within the last 6 months)
   รูปถ่าย (ถ่ายไว้ไม่เกิน 6 เดือน)
3. Official letter from the employing company or educational institution in Thailand, addressed to the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Savannakhet, requesting the issuance of a Non-Immigrant Visa “O” for the applicant as a family member of the employee
   หนังสือขอความอนุเคราะห์ตรวจลงตราจากบริษัทหรือสถานศึกษาผู้จ้างงานชาวต่างชาติที่เป็นบุคคลในครอบครัวของผู้ร้องถึงสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ แขวงสะหวันนะเขต
4. A copy of the employment contract, employment certification letter, or valid work permit of the foreign national employee who is the applicant’s family member
   สัญญาจ้างงาน หรือ หนังสือรับรองการจ้างงาน หรือ ใบอนุญาตทำงาน ของชาวต่างชาติที่เป็นบุคคลในครอบครัวของผู้ร้อง
5. A copy of the current visa page of the foreign national who is the applicant’s family member
   สำเนาหน้าวีซ่าของชาวต่างชาติที่เป็นบุคคลในครอบครัวของผู้ร้อง
6. A copy of documentary evidence demonstrating the family relationship, such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, House Registration, or an official certification issued by a government authority
   สำเนาเอกสารหลักฐานแสดงความเป็นบุคคลในครอบครัว เช่น ทะเบียนสมรส สูติบัตร ทะเบียนบ้าน หนังสือรับรองจากหน่วยงานของรัฐ
7. Evidence of sufficient financial means in an amount of not less than THB 40,000, such as bank statements covering the past 3 months or a sponsor letter, as applicable.
