E-Visa Application

Effective 1 January 2025 at 10.00 hrs. (UTC+7), non-Thai nationals currently residing in Savannakhet Province, Khammouane Province, Saravanh Province, Champasak Province, Sekong Province, or Attapeu Province who intend to apply for a visa to enter the Kingdom of Thailand are required to submit their applications for all visa categories only through the official e-Visa system at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/.

Please note that in-person submission of passports and supporting documents at the Consulate, as previously practiced, is no longer accepted under the e-Visa system. However, the Consulate may, if deemed necessary, require the applicant to attend an in-person interview.

Visa Fee Payment

Online payment is currently unavailable. Visa fees must be paid in cash (Thai Baht only) at the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Savannakhet, between 09.00 and 11.00 hrs, Monday to Friday, excluding official holidays of the Consulate. Payment may be made by the applicant or an authorized representative.

Please note that visa fees are non-refundable in all circumstances. Applicants are advised to ensure that all information is entered accurately before submitting the application and proceeding with payment.

Processing Time

Visa applications submitted through the e-Visa system are generally processed within approximately 5–10 working days, provided that all required documents are complete, counted from the date of visa fee payment. Please note that the actual processing time may vary depending on the circumstances of each application.

Please be informed that consular officers reserve the right to request additional supporting documents, require the applicant to attend an interview, and to approve, refuse, cancel, or change the visa category as deemed necessary, without prior notice or explanation.

Approval Notification

If an e-Visa application is approved, a confirmation will be sent to the applicant’s registered email address. Applicants must print a copy of this confirmation as proof of the visa and present it to airline staff at departure and to Thai immigration officers upon arrival in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Please note that the issuance of a visa does not guarantee entry into the Kingdom of Thailand. The final decision on admission rests with the Immigration Bureau at the port of entry.

การขอรับการตรวจลงตรา (วีซ่า) อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (E-Visa)

ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2568 ชาวต่างชาติที่พำนักอยู่ในแขวงสะหวันนะเขต แขวงคำม่วน แขวงสาละวัน แขวงจำปาสัก แขวงเซกอง และแขวงอัตตะปือ ที่ประสงค์จะยื่นคำร้องขอวีซ่าเพื่อเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยต้องยื่นคำร้องขอรับการตรวจลงตราทุกประเภทผ่านระบบตรวจลงตราอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (E-Visa) ที่เว็บไซต์ https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ เท่านั้น

ทั้งนี้ การยื่นคำร้องด้วยตนเองที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ซึ่งเคยปฏิบัติมาก่อนหน้านี้ จะไม่สามารถดำเนินการได้อีกต่อไปภายใต้ระบบ E-Visa อย่างไรก็ดี สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ อาจพิจารณาเรียกให้ผู้ร้องเข้ารับการสัมภาษณ์ที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ หากเห็นว่ามีความจำเป็น

การชำระค่าธรรมเนียมการขอวีซ่า

ปัจจุบัน สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยังไม่เปิดให้ชำระค่าธรรมเนียมแบบออนไลน์ ผู้ร้องต้องชำระค่าธรรมเนียมเป็นเงินสด (สกุลบาท) ณ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ด้วยตนเองหรือผู้แทน ระหว่างเวลา 09.00 - 11.00 น. วันจันทร์ - ศุกร์ (ยกเว้นวันหยุดราชการของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ)

ค่าธรรมเนียมการตรวจลงตราไม่สามารถขอคืนได้ไม่ว่ากรณีใด ๆ ผู้ร้องควรตรวจสอบความถูกต้องของข้อมูลทั้งหมดให้ครบถ้วนก่อนยื่นคำร้องและชำระค่าธรรมเนียม

ระยะเวลาดำเนินการ

หากเอกสารประกอบการพิจารณาครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ คำร้องขอวีซ่าที่ยื่นผ่านระบบ E-Visa จะใช้เวลาดำเนินการประมาณ 5-10 วันทำการ นับจากวันที่ชำระค่าธรรมเนียม ซึ่งระยะเวลาดำเนินการของแต่ละคำร้องอาจแตกต่างกัน

ทั้งนี้ เจ้าหน้าที่กงสุลขอสงวนสิทธิ์ในการขอรับเอกสารประกอบคำร้องเพิ่มเติม การเรียกผู้ร้องมาเข้ารับการสัมภาษณ์ และการพิจารณาอนุมัติ ไม่อนุมัติ ยกเลิก หรือเปลี่ยนแปลงประเภทวีซ่าตามที่เห็นสมควร โดยไม่ต้องแจ้งเหตุผลล่วงหน้า

การแจ้งผลการอนุมัติ

เมื่อวีซ่าได้รับการอนุมัติ ผู้ร้องจะได้รับการแจ้งยืนยันไปทางอีเมล์ที่ลงทะเบียน ผู้ร้องต้องพิมพ์สำเนาเอกสารยืนยันดังกล่าว เพื่อแสดงแก่เจ้าหน้าที่สายการบินหรือเจ้าหน้าที่ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง เมื่อเดินทางถึงประเทศไทย

การอนุมัติวีซ่าไม่ได้เป็นการรับประกันว่าจะสามารถเดินทางเข้าราชอาณาจักรไทยได้ การอนุญาตให้เข้าประเทศขึ้นอยู่กับดุลยพินิจของเจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง ณ ด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมือง
