Tourist Visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for tourism purpose only. That will be valid within 90 days on Single-Entry Visa and 180 days on Multiple-Entry Visa from the date of issue. The permitted length of stay is up to 60 days from the date of arrival in Thailand.
          Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa is valid for entering Thailand within 6 months from the date of application. The period of stay is 60 days maximum per stay. The Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa holder may enter Thailand again as long as the visa is still valid. (Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa will only be granted to Lao nationals or those with proof of permanent residence in Lao PDR.)

Required Documents

1. Visa application form [Download] completely filled out and signed by the applicant
2. Original and a copy of passport (must not expire within 180 days and contain at least two complete empty visa pages)
3. Two (2) photos of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm, taken within 6 months)
4. Visa Fee: Single Entry (1,000 Baht) or Multiple Entries (5,000 Baht)
5. Travel itinerary to and from Thailand and accommodation e.g. plane/train/bus ticket, hotel booking, letter from whom you will be staying with and a signed copy of his/her ID
6. Evidence of adequate finance
   - Single-Entry Tourist Visa: 3-month financial statements with an average balance of 20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family
   - Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa: 6-month financial statements 200,000 baht per person
7. Proof of permanent residence in Lao PDR (For Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa applicant)

Notes:

• Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary.
• Visa Fee must be paid in Thai Baht only. Visa Fees are not refundable in any cases.
• Legal migration procedures: In case a false or forged document is submitted in the framework of a visa application the visa will be refused and may be prosecuted.
• The applicant must sign on each page of copies of documents.

          วีซ่าประเภทท่องเที่ยวออกให้ผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางธรรมดาที่ประสงค์จะเดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทย วีซ่าประเภทท่องเที่ยวแบบใช้ครั้งเดียวมี อายุ 90 วัน และมีกำหนดระยะเวลาที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้พำนักอยู่ในประเทศไทย ไม่เกิน 60 วัน
         สำหรับวีซ่าประเภทท่องเที่ยวแบบเข้าได้หลายครั้งมีอายุ 6 เดือน นับจากวันที่ยื่นขอวีซ่า และใช้พำนักอยู่ในประเทศไทยได้ครั้งละไม่เกิน 60 วัน ออกให้แก่บุคคลสัญชาติลาวหรือผู้มีถิ่นพำนักใน สปป. ลาว เท่านั้น

เอกสารประกอบการขอวีซ่าท่องเที่ยว

1. คำร้องขอวีซ่า (Download)
2. หนังสือเดินทางต้นฉบับ (ที่มีอายุอย่างน้อย 180 วัน) พร้อมสำเนาที่แสดงรูปถ่าย ชื่อ-นามสกุล วันและสถานที่เกิด และวันหมดอายุของหนังสือเดินทาง
3. รูปถ่าย (ขนาด 3.5 x 4.5 ซม. จำนวน 2 ใบ ถ่ายไว้ไม่เกิน 6 เดือน)
4. ค่าธรรมเนียม 1,000 บาท (Single Entry)/ 5,000 บาท (Multiple Entries)
5. เอกสารการเดินทางเข้า-ออก ประเทศไทย และที่พักอาศัย เช่น บัตรโดยสารเครื่องบิน/รถไฟ/รถโดยสาร, ใบยืนยันการสำรองโรงแรมที่พัก หรือ หนังสือรับรองการพำนักจากเจ้าของสถานที่พร้อมสำเนาบัตรประจำตัวที่ลงนามรับรองสำเนาถูกต้อง
6. หลักฐานทางการเงิน
   - แบบเข้าได้ครั้งเดียว (Single-Entry): บัญชีธนาคารย้อนหลัง 3 เดือน แสดงยอดเงินเฉลี่ย 20,000 บาท/คน หรือ 40,000 บาท/ครอบครัว
   - แบบเข้าได้หลายครั้ง (Multiple-Entry): บัญชีธนาคารย้อนหลัง 6 เดือน แสดงยอดเงินเฉลี่ย 200,000 บาท/คน
7. หลักฐานการมีถิ่นพำนักใน สปป. ลาว (สำหรับการขอวีซ่าท่องเที่ยวแบบเข้าได้หลายครั้ง)

หมายเหตุ

• กงสุลมีสิทธิ์โดยชอบตามกฎหมาย ที่จะเรียกเอกสารเพิ่มเติมเพื่อประกอบการพิจารณาให้วีซ่า
• การชำระค่าธรรมเนียมวีซ่า ต้องชำระเป็นสกุลเงินบาทเท่านั้น และจะไม่คืนค่าธรรมเนียมทุกกรณี
• หากตรวจพบการยื่นเอกสารอันเป็นเท็จ จะดำเนินการปฏิเสธการเข้าเมือง และอาจจะถูกดำเนินคดีตามกฎหมาย
• ต้องรับรองสำเนาถูกต้องในสำเนาเอกสารทุกฉบับ
