E-Visa Application
Effective 1 January 2025, 10.00 hrs. (UTC+7), non-Thai nationals who are currently in Savannakhet Province, Khammouane Province, Saravanh Province, Champasak Province, Sekong Province, Attapeu Province and wish to apply for a visa to enter Thailand must submit their visa applications for all visa types through the e-Visa system at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/.

Certain nationals are eligible for visa exemption or visa on arrival. Check your eligibility at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ under the heading “Do I need a tourist visa?” and https://thailandevoa.vfsevisa.com/.

No In-Person Submission of Passport and Supporting Documents.

Visa Fee Payment
Online payment is currently unavailable for this location. Visa fees must be paid in cash
(Thai Baht) at the Royal Thai Consulate-General (No.9 Road Ban Huameuang N, Kaysone Phomvihane City, Savannakhet Province) either by the applicant or someone else, between 09.00 - 11.00 hours Monday - Friday (except Thai & Lao official holidays)

Processing Time
The processing time for visa applications through the e-Visa system will take approximately 10-15 working days (if all required documents are complete), from the date the visa fee is paid.

Approval Notification
If the e-Visa application is approved, a confirmation will be sent to the applicant’s registered email. A copy of this confirmation must be printed as proof of a visa and to be presented to airline staff at departure or Thai immigration officers upon arrival in Thailand.

การขอรับการตรวจลงตรา (วีซ่า) อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (E-Visa)
ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2568 บุคคลที่ไม่ใช่สัญชาติไทยและพำนักอยู่ที่แขวงสะหวันนะเขต แขวงคำม่วน แขวงสาละวัน แขวงจำปาสัก แขวงเซกอง และแขวงอัตตะปือ และประสงค์จะยื่นคำร้องขอวีซ่าเพื่อเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยต้องส่งคำร้องขอรับการตรวจลงตราทุกประเภทผ่านระบบตรวจลงตราอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่ https://www.thaievisa.go.th/

ทั้งนี้ บุคคลบางสัญชาติได้รับการยกเว้นการขอวีซ่าเพื่อเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทย หรือสามารถขอวีซ่า ณ ช่องทางอนุญาตของด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมือง กรุณาตรวจสอบข้อมูลที่เว็บไซต์ https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ และ https://thailandevoa.vfsevisa.com/

ผู้ร้องไม่สามารถยื่นหนังสือเดินทางและเอกสารประกอบเพื่อขอรับวีซ่าด้วยตนเอง ณ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้

การชำระค่าธรรมเนียมการขอวีซ่า
ปัจจุบัน สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยังไม่เปิดให้ชำระค่าธรรมเนียมแบบออนไลน์ ผู้ร้องต้องชำระค่าธรรมเนียมเป็น
เงินสดสกุลบาท ณ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ด้วยตนเองหรือผู้แทน ระหว่างเวลา 09.00 - 11.00 น. วันจันทร์ - ศุกร์ ยกเว้นวันหยุดราชการไทยและ สปป. ลาว

ระยะเวลาดำเนินการ
กรณีประกอบเอกสารครบถ้วน กระบวนการจัดทำวีซ่าใช้เวลาประมาณ 10-15 วันทำการ นับจากวันที่ชำระค่าธรรมเนียม

การแจ้งเตือนเมื่อวีซ่าได้รับการอนุมัติ
เมื่อวีซ่าได้รับการอนุมัติ ผู้ร้องจะได้รับเอกสารยืนยันตามอีเมล์ที่ลงทะเบียน ผู้ร้องต้องพิมพ์สำเนา
เอกสารยืนยันดังกล่าว เพื่อแสดงแก่เจ้าหน้าที่สายการบินหรือเจ้าหน้าที่ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง เมื่อเดินทางถึงประเทศไทย
