Non - Immigrant Visa "B" is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for the purpose of conducting business, conference and employment. The validity of visa is 3 months. The permitted length of stay is up to 90 days from the date of arrival in Thailand.
Required documents
Visa application form [Download] which is completely filled out and signed by the applicant
Original and a copy of passport or travel document (must not expire within 180 days and contain at least two complete empty visa pages)
Two (2) photos of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm, taken within 6 months)
An original letter of invitation from the business host in Thailand stating the objective of the visit to Thailand to the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Savannakhet
A document showing correspondence with trading partners in Thailand (Letter of invitation from companies qualified to employ foreigners) or employment contract indicating rationale for employing the applicant as well as his/her salary, position and qualifications (document must be signed by authorized managing director and affixed the seal of the company)
An approval letter from the Department of Employment regarding the “WP3” form submitted on behalf of the applicant by the employer (Japanese nationals are exempted in accordance with JTEPA), or an approval letter from the Office of the Board of Investment (BOI).
A copy of corporate documents; namely 1) List of shareholders 2) Business registration and business license 3) Company profile 4) Details of business operation 5) List of foreign workers stating names, nationalities and positions 6) Map indicating the location of the company 7) Balance sheet, statement of Income Tax and Business Tax (Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor Dor 30) of the latest year 8) Alien income tax return (Por Ngor Dor 91) and 9) Value-added tax registration (Por Ngor Dor 20) , etc.
A Copy of Thai ID card or passport of the host of company
A Copy of educational records of the applicant and letters of recommendation from the prior employers, identifying job description and length of service time
A Copy of Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Labour (only in case the applicant has previously worked in Thailand)
Visa fee: single entry 2,000 Baht
Notes:
Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary.
Visa Fee must be paid in Thai Baht only. Visa Fees are not refundable in any cases.
Legal migration procedures: In case a false or forged document is submitted in the framework of a visa application the visa will be refused and may be prosecuted.
The applicant must sign on each page of copies of documents.
From 4 June 2024, An appointment must be made via https://thaivisasvk.com. (launched from 1 June 2024) No walk-ins will be accepted.
